“Pure Grid POWer!” (Tm) Outlet Extender inspired late 2015 by a client requiring a direct-coupled, high performance outlet Extender for Hypex nCore NC400 Bridged mono bloc power amps, which perform best with such product (performance degrades w/filtering device). “Pure Grid POWer!” (Tm) Extender is the ideal choice between a disposable plastic strip and high priced mains filter, some of which add coloration.

Built like the proverbial tank. Each “Extender” comprises one or two boxes, each made of cast aluminum alloy with 2.7mm panels, copious internal bracing, and brushed stainless steel duplex cover/dress plate. The eight-outlet Extender employs two boxes with only three to four mm between duplex covers, to appear like one continuous top plate. Construction Details

Direct-coupled to the wall outlet for maximum value and performance: no fuse, no light, no switch, no filter, and no circuit breaker. All such features increase cost and can limit current and degrade performance.

“SD/Super Durable” powder coat rivals or exceeds anodize durability. Four large black rubber feet and one premium high-mass IEC receptacle w/Rhodium plated contacts and large precision terminal blocs (the best IEC we’ve seen).

A high-end CNC shop near our office powder coats and precision cuts all holes. Internal Live and Neutral wire is 14AWG high-grade solid copper; earth wire is 18AWG. All bare conductors tinned with silver content solder. Each box and each duplex grounded to earth for maximum safety (this safety feature requires earthed wall outlet and 3-conductor earthed mains cable).

Each Extender requires a separate IEC Mains Cable to the wall, not included (see “Pure Grid POWer!” (Tm) brand by James Romeyn, $155/up to 6ft).

Lead Time

Each Extender is custom manufactured in Utah. After we receive payment, your new “Pure Grid POWer!” (Tm) Extender ships within two weeks maximum.

Warning and Disclaimer

Detach wall plug during electrical storm. Structure circuit breaker determines maximum current (normally 15A) including all appliances + all components plugged into “Pure Grid POWer!” (Tm) Extender. Maximum current on “Pure Grid POWer!” (Tm) Extender is 20A.
